ADHD News is an online newsletter with up-to-the minute news, reviews, and research for parents.
If you have ever wondered what it's like to live on the vast Serengeti plains, or experience the intense beauty of a Sahara night, AFRICA for Kids will take you there.
Alphabet Soup contains thematic units, holiday units, games and activities for kids; teacher and parent resources; and crafts, humor and recipes for all!
Awesome Library organizes the Web with thousands of carefully reviewed resources.

Brain Kids contians online science resources for students, teachers, and parents.

The Center for Effective Parenting/Arkansas State PIRC strives to improve parent education and parental involvement.
CHADD or Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder is an advocacy organization founded by a group of parents whose children have ADD or ADHD.
Chateau Meddybemps encourages parents to use the site to help their children explore the fun in learning.
Child Parenting from About.com, offers help in parenting children from birth through young adults.
Children's Storybooks Online presents illustrated children's stories for kids of all ages.
Clever Toddler Activities contains a host of toddler activities, free games, nursery rhymes and toddler projects for you to choose from. You will also find many great parenting tips for your toddler at this site.
Discovery Education features links that are helpful for parents and students as well as teachers. These include product reviews and educational advice to study tools.
Disney's Family is an everyday resource for Moms and Dads.
Disney Games contains games based upon Disney shows.
Enchanted Learning produces children's educational web sites and games which are designed to capture the imagination while maximizing creativity, learning, and enjoyment.
The Family Education Network offers activities, games, movies, and more -- find everything you need for family fun and information at this site.
At Family TLC you can select your child's age to access family activities - games, sports, crafts, music, cooking, nature and more. You will also find parenting tips, articles on child development and hundreds of new age-appropriate child activities each month.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency hosts this site dealing with disasters, terrorism, school and fire safety. There are links to resources for parents and teachers.
Find 80 math challenges for families at Figure This!, which is a joint project of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the National Science Foundation, and the U.S. Department of Education. For Grade 4-12.
Funbrain contains games and activities for kids and parents. It covers areas such as math, vocabulary words, weather, music, and interactive educational games.
Growing Up Drug Free offers a parent's guide to drug prevention.
Harper Collins Children's is home to many classics of children's literature. You will find book and author information with destinations for Kids, Parents, Teachers and Librarians.
Helping Your Child Learn Science is an online book that provides examples of a few simple activities we can do with our children. It is an introduction to the wealth of material in many other books available in libraries and bookstores. It might also inspire us to make up our own experiments to see why and how things turn out the way they do.

IXL is a Math practice tool for educators and families that adapts to a student's individual level of proficiency and includes achievement awards and progress reports.

Internet Mental Health features a great links collection to sections on description, diagnosis, treatment, research, booklets, magazine articles, and other web pages.
Julia's Rainbow Corner has been bringing fun and games for preschoolers, parents and grandparents to the internet for over nine years.
Kaboose allows you to swap ideas with other parents, talk to experts, get advice on recipes, craft projects, your family's health and much more. Registration is free and it also allows you to receive advance notice for all special Parenting Forums and live expert Q&A's.

The Kids Garden includes a myriad of resources to help parents and educators teach children about gardening at home and at school. Topics covered include pollination, flower anatomy, propagating plants, garden wildlife, composting, and weeds and wildflowers.

Kids Health is sponsored by the Nemours Foundation, a nonprofit organization devoted to children's health. There are many links found here for kids, teens, and parents.
Kids Source contains in-depth & timely education & healthcare information that will make a difference in the lives of parents & children.

Kids Psychology is a site for parents to spend quality time with their younger children, ages 1-5 and 6-9. It includes many fun games involving cognitive thinking skills and deductive reasoning.
Library Spot is a free virtual library resource center for students and educators, librarians, and parents.

The NASA Kids' Club web site is entertaining and educational.

This is the official site for current information on Missing and Exploited Children. You can search for missing children, view wanted posters, submit child "sightings", and more.
National Geographic has gathered their best resources for parents into one place. The site contains family friendly activities, games, travel, and more.
The National Parenting Center's Parent Talk Newsletter is filled with the advice and information that parents want most. With the goal of helping parents feel confident in their own abilities, the Parent Talk newsletter provides the latest in medical, behavioral, and educational information.
Parents or caregivers, educators, government officials, law enforcement, and youth organizations that want to learn more about the Internet and the possible dangers to children online should visit Net Smart Kidz.

Preschool Express contains Preschool activities & ideas for teachers, parents and grandparents.

Browse the fiction and nonfiction titles in the Primary Source Library selected to educate students for global understanding. For example, Listen to the Wind: The Story of Dr. Greg and the Three Cups of Tea is a children’s book that tells the story of Dr. Greg Mortenson’s promise to build a school in a remote Himalayan village after the villagers saved his life. Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) is the nation's oldest and largest nonprofit children's literacy organization.
Room 108 is a primary education site for kids.   There are lots of  free online games but all with an educational focus. Search Great Web Sites for Kids from the American Library Association includes links to ALA great sites and other sites for parents and young people.

Smokey Bear.com houses the public service campaign for outdoor fire safety and wildfire prevention. A history of the campaign, resources, prevention, fighting fires, science of wildfires and much more are included on this site.
Starfall is a free web site to help teach children to read. It is perfect for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. It contains exciting interactive books and phonics games.

Expand your English learners’ reading experiences with a new, free audio story each week from Storynory. You’ll find both classic stories and original tales that have been adapted from stories around the world. All the stories and audio books come with full English text. Students can double-click any word in the text for translation into a host of languages.

Stop by the StoryPlace, a digital library created specifically for children. The library’s materials include free online books, online activities, take-home activities and reading lists for preschool and elementary students. The site is accessible in English and Spanish.

Surfing the Net with Kids contains a great collection of Web sites, stories and projects. Plenty of fun awaits you.

TEAMS Educational Resources , is a place where teachers, students, administrators and parents can find free links to educational resources that have been researched, reviewed and evaluated by and for educators.

The Teletubbies site contains endless amounts of fun, games, crafts, activities, nursery rhymes and great things to do.
Tips on Toys helps you choose safe toys, organized by age of the child.
Under5s is an independent site based in the UK which promotes pre-school education and provides free resources and information for all early years.
